Rihana President | Development Manager

Rihana is a Boston transplant originally hailing from Colorado. She loves dance, hates celery and has had a passion for the performing arts for her entire life. Participating in every show and choir she could audition for throughout school she eventually graduated top of her class and decided to travel to Rhode Island to continue her educational endeavors. Once there, she studied within a variety of fields with a focus on Psychology, Performing Arts and American Sign Language, earning her Bachelor’s degree from Brown University. Following this she has maintained a close relationship to the arts, working professionally in the field as actor, dancer, manager and more.

As a performer, she is passionate not only about her own explorations of the arts but the deeper understanding of the peoples and cultures who have cultivated them. An avid artsy learner, she is thrilled to help others discover the beauty of art in her new role as Development Manager with Urbanity.

The depths the arts can reach in us are so important to protect, especially in these postcovidian times. The opportunity to aid in the distribution of access to its magic is an honor and she looks forward to spreading the joy, play, and strength it fosters to the greater community.
